On the morning of July 31, Shanghai Financial Court and Shanghai Maritime Court held a conference jointly to announce their leadership adjustment. The leaders attending the conference included Liu Xiaoyun, Secretary of the CPC Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai High People’s Court, Leng Weiqing, Deputy Chief of the Organizational Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, Sheng Yongqiang, Secretary of the CPC Party Leadership Group and Vice President of Shanghai High People’s Court, and Lu Weimin, Member of the CPC Party Leadership Group of Shanghai High People’s Court and Director of its Political Department. The conference was presided over by Sheng Yongqiang .

At the conference, Comrade Leng Weiqing read out the appointment decisions of the CPC Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People's Congress, which appointed Comrade Zhao Hong as Party Secretary and President of Shanghai Financial Court, Comrade Wang Tong as Party Secretary and President of Shanghai Maritime Court, Comrade Lin Xiaonie and Comrade Xiao Kai as vice presidents of Shanghai Financial Court. Zhao Hong and Wang Tong made statements respectively.
